Quercetin is a bioflavanoid that has antioxidant properties. It is commonly used in Herbal Medicine as a blood vessel protectant. Studies have shown that quercetin supplementation in prehypertensive adults can improve endothelial function leading to a reduction in inflammation, contributing an overall cardio protective effect. Quercetin also may act as a blood vessel protectant by exerting a vasodilator and antiplatelet effect. Magnesium is an essential mineral and helps to maintain proper muscle function.
